New Drive, New Garden
Colour All Year Round
This is a garden combining old and new elements, where clean lines, defined shapes and strong statements have been used to bring a clear sense of identity and unity through the garden.
Stone and steel are juxtaposed, with crisply defined junctions between, to enhance the clarity of the design. A signature charcoal grey shade links the painted structures and ensures cohesion throughout.
A new yew hedge and uniform line of upright trees screen the house from the street. A beautiful, decorative wrought iron gate opens to a new path of soft-toned, sawn sandstone in premium kingsize flags, bringing a sense of luxury immediately on entering the property.
The new driveway of contemporary-style charcoal grey setts is framed with smooth, low, curved steel walls. Steel is repeated in the edges and steps of the limed oak deck where the crisp, clean lines and contrasting shades of light and dark bring a bold, contemporary look.
Generous drifts of planting act as a unifying framework, reinforcing the strong shapes, and repetition is used to strengthen and elevate the design.
