Range of Services

You may not require the full design service - perhaps only a section of your garden needs an update, or you would like more colour in your planting borders. silverflowe design provide Planting Design services and Garden Consultations where we walk round and advise on how to develop your garden.

To get you started

To help you with ideas and imagining what you want from your new outdoor space it is worth considering the following:

 - List what you like and do not like about your current garden

 - Ask yourself what you really want to do outdoors

 - Browse and save images of gardens, planting and features which suit your style

 - Consider how much time you have to look after your new garden

 - Decide your potential budget, including design fees

Established in 2013, silverflowe design has built a reputation for creating beautiful gardens, individually tailored to reflect our clients’ needs, homes and lifestyles. We work with you through the design journey and can take care of the whole process to create your new garden.

Phase 1 - Design Concept

We start with a meeting to see your garden and gain an understanding of your requirements. We discuss option and services, allowing us to put together a fee proposal tailored to your needs.

We visit your garden to understand the space and measure for the Survey Plan. We then develop a concept for the garden, addressing space planning, flow of movement, scale and proportions and specifications for paving, steps, bespoke items, lighting and accessories.

The initial Sketch Plan is presented to you with 3D images (where applicable), mood boards to give you a feel for the new garden, and a preliminary estimate for the proposed works.

Following feedback from you we evolve the plans to the Final Outline Plan with layout finalised, materials selected, and planting concept determined.

Phase 2 - Technical Phase

We prepare the landscaping contractor’s documents: Technical Plans, Construction Drawings, detailed Specifications and Planting Plans. We introduce and help you to engage trusted landscapers and skilled craftsmen to build your garden.

Phase 3 - Build Phase

We provide a smooth and stress free experience, monitoring the project and remaining the main point of contact throughout the garden build. We provide the plants and accessories which make the garden special.

Phase 4 - After Care Support

When all the plants are in and the contractor leaves, your new garden is only just beginning. It will grown and develop and needs ongoing care and editing. To help you with this we offer Garden Mentoring - arranging visits in the first few seasons to walk round the garden with you to see how the plants are settling in and answer your queries

We advise joining www.shootgardening.co.uk for access to a vast source of information. We offer a year’s subscription specific to your garden, with photos and care notes about your specific plants and monthly care emails.
