Diane and Steven designed and managed the complete makeover of our front and rear gardens in central Edinburgh. We were very happy with the whole process, from the early design stage, where we were encouraged to put forward our own ideas and tastes. These ideas were discussed and professionally elaborated into an innovative and stylish solution for both areas, taking into account both natural and artificial lighting and planting schemes which met the limitations of space and orientation. The execution of works was not a disappointment either and was professionally managed throughout. All together highy recommended! Mr F Mackintosh
A Bold Contemporary Garden
Diane and Steven designed and implemented a complete re-think of our traditional and rather over grown garden. They retained and cut-back many of the mature plants but also opened up new space, put in new planting, introduced garden furniture and succeeded in creating the open-ness we were looking for. At all stages they consulted with us, listened to our ideas and introduced smart solutions and options.
We are delighted with the results and would recommend them highly. Highly organised, professional and disciplined, they are also great folks to have around. Mr M Conway
A Shady Courtyard Garden
Diane and Steven did a great job of designing a "yard" into a bright, organised, colourful, useable space that incorporated lots of little design features that make the most of our small New Town space. They listened carefully to our myriad of suggestions and distilled these down to a design that would work!! silverflowe design also suggested a great team of landscapers who worked quickly and with the minimum of fuss. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend! Mrs W Davidson
A Contemporary Potager Garden
One of the most impressive things about silverflowe design was their rapid and accurate interpretation of my imaginings. Over a relaxed meeting with Diane and Steven, I discussed my ideas, likes and dislikes and my ‘relationship’ with gardens past and gardens yearned for. The three designs I was duly presented with were uncanny snapshots of what I had imagined and had tried to express. Each was slightly different but all made clever use of the available space, incorporated everything that I had requested and included a few surprise elements and expert suggestions for good measure!
The contractors engaged by the company were friendly and reliable, transforming the space in a very short period of time. The ‘aftercare’ service provided has been incredible, with lots of advice for future plantings etc being offered whenever asked for.
My garden is now a pleasure to sit in, work in, eat in or just to look at and I look forward to watching it mature and evolve.
Many thanks to silverflowe design, I wholeheartedly recommend their services. Mrs A Harris
New Drive, New Garden
silverflowe design did a great job designing an extensive front and side garden for us and I would not hesitate to recommend them. It was a big project which accommodated a new driveway and involved considerable changes to hard landscape in the space. Steven and Diane handled the whole planning permission process and took away a lot of the headache. It was not a job I had the knowledge or time to take on independently and the project was managed and planned very well. We now have extra parking space without compromising the look of our garden. The garden is beautiful, functional and contemporary whilst accommodating our needs. Mrs S Sarwar
A Wellbeing Centre Therapy Garden
Diane and Steven were suggested to me by a friend who knows gardening. In the creation of the Dovelight garden our meetings reflected the person-centred approach of the vision I had and very special purpose of a therapy garden.
Steven and Diane were open and understanding in the creative process bringing their own very expansive knoweledge of root and tree and plant as it were to the project.
The garden is quite beautiful and offers much in interest and detail and healing through every season.I have felt safe and happy in their continued managing and nurturing of the garden and in this the maintenance of a wonderful therapeutic healing space. Morag Whitelaw
